Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist

Pastoral Supervisor

Therapy takes place within a relationship between two people who are trying to understand together what the difficulties are; and how they can be resolved.

A Bit About Psychotherapy

I believe that therapy deeply respects the individuality of each person and the fact that one size does not fit all. Individuals may seek support for relief from:
- Emotional disturbances such as depression, anxiety, and stress.
- A history of failing relationships.
- Difficulty in forming new relationships.
- Trauma, grief, or life crisis.
- Fear or phobias.
- Loss of meaning.

Pastoral Supervision

I supervise clergy, pastors, chaplains and laity in their Ministry. The Royal Commission into churches and other institutions recommends in 16.45  consistent with Child Safe Standard 5, each religious institution should ensure that all people in religious or pastoral ministry have professional supervision with a trained professional or pastoral supervisor who has a degree of independence from the institution within which the person is in ministry.

My story

20230406_121805_edited.jpg

Imagine waking up every morning feeling like you can take on the world. How great does that feel? In 1994, I started working as a Rehabilitation Counsellor in greater Sydney. Since then, I have branched out in Counselling and work with Migrants and Refugees.  I commenced supervised training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in 2019 which I love.

Life can get difficult, and sometimes a little help from a professional can make things better. I care about your well-being and provide you with all the tools you need in order to seize the day and learn how to tackle even the most traumatic circumstances.
